The Adventure Shed – An Laimhrig
We have a perfect base in the Adventure Shed at the head of the old and new pier in the recently renovated An Laimhrig complex. This is where the Isle of Eigg Shop, Galmisdale Bay Cafe and Bar, toilets and Isle of Eigg Craft Shop are all located. The Adventure Shed is our base for all bike hire collection and return, and also where we meet for kayaking sessions.
Inside the Adventure Shed, we have a bike cleaning and servicing area to keep our fleet in tip top condition, customer area for safety briefings and maps of the island. We also offer emergency repairs for those who bring their own bikes to the island (if we have time after making sure our hire customers are looked after). We’ll endeavour to help with your bike related emergencies (we’re cyclists, we understand), and you are assured of a warm welcome at the Adventure Shed. We keep a small stock of bike related essentials (inner tubes, chains etc.) for sale, and we offer fitting if required when time permits.
